Affectionately known as 'the Pass', Charlotte Pass is truly snowbound in winter, offering a genuine alpine experience that is popular with cross country skiers. The Pass caters for a range of ski levels from beginners right through to experienced skiers, and also has night skiing sessions and a kid's play park.

Getting There
The nearest main airport to Charlotte Pass is Canberra Airport, just over 200km away. Flights from Sydney also reach the Snowy Mountains Airport in winter, which is only 86km from Charlotte Pass Ski Resort. Book flights online
Privately-operated shuttles also run from Canberra and the Snowy Mountains Airport to Charlotte Pass.

Car Hire
Car hire is available close by at Jindabyne and in Canberra. During winter, snow chains for your tires are essential so be sure to also hire chains. You can book your car online to guarantee availability.

Events
In August the resort celebrates the Charlotte Pass Winter Festival with a range of activities including a flare run, outdoor ice bar, live music, daily barbeques and a fireworks display.
