5. Brisbane Arcade

This heritage-listed arcade off the Queen Street Mall was built in 1923 and features an ornate decor that reflects the era, with terrazzo floors, dado panelling and leadlight detail. The stores are a mix of exclusive jewellers, bridal couture, fashion brands and boutique shops, including The Penne Shop, Bora, Keri Craig Emporium and Maiocchi, spread over three decorative levels with a street frontage off Adelaide Street.

Under one vast roof, DFO (Direct Factory Outlets) at Brisbane Airport features an array of high end and mid-level fashion stores, shoes and accessories, leather goods, luggage and electronics available at (often) a huge discount.
