Travellers now have a new business class option within Europe.
British Airways has announced the long-awaited update to its Club World business cabin, available on the soon-to-be-delivered Airbus A350-1000 aircraft.
Each new Club Suite will have direct aisle access and suite doors for greater privacy as well as luxury lie-flat bed seats in a 1-2-1 configuration. The configuration means BA can pack more into the space including a vanity unit and mirror, 47cm screen and 40 per cent more storage options. Wi-Fi has also been included on board and each seat has its own universal PC and USB ports.

The rollout of the new Club Suite will begin in July 2019 on the London-Madrid services and then on long-haul services from October 1, 2019 on select London-Toronto and London-Dubai flights, with three more A350s and two Boeing 777 arriving by the end of 2019. Plans are also underway for additional aircraft in 2020.
British Airways will also be updating its premium economy offering, World Traveller Plus, with new plush pillows, warm quilts, amenity kits and enhanced dining and service.
British Airways does not yet have plans to use the new aircraft in Australia for the Boeing-777 Sydney-London service, which has a fuel stop in Singapore on the way to London Heathrow.
