3 - Life Lessons from the Youngest Person to Travel to Every Country | Lexie Alford | TEDxKlagenfurt
Channel: TedxTalks
The title sums this up pretty succinctly, but what it doesn’t capture is the feeling you’ll walk away with after watching Lexie describe her sole motivator for life’s choices. Hint: it actually isn’t fear.
Youtube description: “Do you know how many countries there are in the world? 21-year-old Lexie does because she took on the adventure to visit them all. She broke the Guinness World Record for the youngest person to travel to every country in the world. To give this achievement some context, more people have been to space than have traveled to all 196 sovereign nations and approximately less than 20 of those people are women. In this TEDx talk, Lexie shares her stories from around the world to inspire others, especially young women, to follow their dreams, to get out of their comfort zone and to stimulate personal growth. Lexie Alford was born in a small town called Nevada City, California. She has been traveling for as long as she can remember with her family who started a travel agency. She traveled to all 196 countries by 21 years old, breaking the Guinness World Record for the Youngest Person to Travel to Every Country by over 3 years.”
4 - Mariacarla Boscono’s Guide To Rome: My City

The curtains are drawn on Mariacarla’s enigmatic modelling persona as she embraces us and pulls us into her Rome. The one she’s grown up with, featuring backstreet bookstores and evening flower markets, complete with glimmering wet cobblestones and an A+ view of the Colosseum at night.
Youtube description: “Being Rome born and bred, Mariacarla Boscono knows the Italian capital inside out. So, who better to ask than the supermodel – who moved back to the city after a 15-year hiatus in New York – to show Vogue around? From go-karting in the Pincian Gardens to dining at the trattoria she’s been going to since the age of one, Boscono reveals how to best spend a day in the city. At night, she heads to the Campo de’ Fiori, one of the capital’s main squares, to soak up the atmosphere. “I come from the most beautiful city in the world,” she says”
5 - Our Journey Through the Famous Corinth Canal! (Sailing La Vagabonde) Ep. 118
Channel: Sailing Lavagabonde
If you’ve ever held a secret dream of spending your days sailing around the world, or even just for a week through Greece, these Youtubers and sailors will be sure to further stoke that desire.
Youtube description: “Woohoo! We made it through the famous Corinth Canal - Greece. The canal is 8m deep and excavated at sea level so it doesn’t need any locks. It took them 12 years to make it and it was first opened in 1893. The canal shaves off a 700km journey around the Peloponnese peninsula and around 11,000 ships pass through each year, mostly small vessels that can handle the narrowness and are able to dodge the result of landslides the sit under the surface. Join us on La Vagabonde as we cruise right on through with my pal Kayla and of course Daniel usually hiding somewhere behind the scenes. Videos made with love, SLV xo”
6 - Scotland's Most Scenic Train - A Trip Across The Highlands
Channel: Downielive
A good taste of what it’s like to travel through Scotland by train and to get out of the ‘big city’ of Glasgow. The video also carries a less obvious but equally edifying narrative, showcasing that making new friends while travelling can result in unexpected adventures.
Youtube description: “The West Highland Line is claimed to be Scotland's Most Scenic Train Route, by rolling from the lowlands to the Highlands through National Parks, along Scotland's Largest Loch, and with a view of the UK's highest mountain. Oh right, I almost forgot! It also stops at the highest altitude train station in the UK.”
7 - 10 of our Favourite QUEENSLAND Travel Destinations

This travel Youtuber details exactly what it’s like to wake up and sea (pun intended) chunks of ice with seals sunbaking on top floating by your room and more specifically what it’s like to cruise with Seabourn. Magic.

10 - PURA VIDA! - The Costa Rica Vlog
Channel: Kold
One of the most cinematic Youtubers on the platform, Kold really knows how to bring his travel adventures to life on screen. Enlisting friends from all over the world as the supporting cast to his videos, the constant through each can be summed up with a well-loved mantra created by Horace, the ancient Roman poet, that is: ‘Carpe diem’.
Youtube description: “This is the Costa Rica story. Costa Rica was the last trip of 2017 and there was no better way to end off the year! Got alot more stories to tell and alot more adventures coming up in the near future. “
