Around the world in 80 days? That's nothing. In a world first, Sunrise and Flight Centre are teaming up to visit five countries over five jam-packed days. The magic and mayhem will all happen live on Sunrise next week, September 14 to 18.

"The countries are not even close together!" says Kochie, somewhat incredulously.

The journey will involve almost 50 hours up in the air, with just enough time to squeeze in the regular morning broadcast before jetting off to the next destination. A crew of 25 will be traipsing the globe, in what promises to be a star-studded week and one for the history books of live television.

"I'm a bit scared," admits Samantha Armytage. "What are we going to do if we miss a plane?" The answer? They can't.

A swag of a-list talent will be joining the Sunrise crew for exclusive chats along the way, including Ed Sheeran, Phil Collins, Adam Lambert, Jamie Lawson, Simple Plan, Aston Merrygold, Hugh Jackman and Seal.

We'll be presenting a behind-the-scenes look at what our world-weary wanderers get up to every day right here on the Flight Centre Travel Blog. With a mix of sleep deprivation, jet lag, American pancakes, and a few sneaky shots of tequila, who knows what could happen?
