Diana, A True Musical Story
From the middle ages to modern monarchy, it’s now time for the timeless tale of the people’s princess. Diana captured the attention and admiration of the world and created a lasting impression and in this new musical, she receives the royal treatment for her life and legacy. Pinkies up at the Longacre Theatre for the official opening on 31 March, 2020. Follow up with high tea after the show.
Company
The classic NYC tale – the search for love and cocktails – gets a makeover. Company first appeared on Broadway in 1970 and for its 35th anniversary, the award-winning musical by Stephen Sondheim returns to the stage. Grab your besties and a Cosmo and check out the 21st century update at Jacobs Theatre from 22 March, 2020.
Mrs Doubtfire
The beloved movie about a divorced dad masquerading as a no-nonsense nanny to stay close to his kids gets the Broadway treatment this year. The heart-warming musical comedy will appeal to families of all kinds and starts at Stephen Sondheim Theatre on 5 April, 2020.
MJ, The Musical
Is there anyone more iconic than Michael Jackson in the history of pop music? The King of Pop’s extensive musical canon is prime for the stage treatment. His electric performances and more than 25 of his top hits are brought to life in what’s described as “an explosion of music and theatricality as unforgettable as the artist himself”. The toe-tapping experience opens at Neil Simon Theatre on 13 August – we dare you to stay seated.
