Breaking away from the traditional luxury river cruise itineraries, Scenic has announced the world's first discovery yacht with its latest luxury, 6-star mega-yacht, Scenic Eclipse.
Launching 31 August, 2018, the exclusive yacht's maiden voyage will be Istanbul to Venice with itineraries to cover The America's, Antarctica, Europe and the Mediterranean, the Arctic and Norwegian Fjords.
Featuring 114 all-verandah guest suites accommodating up to 228 guests, the luxury vessel will offer a spacious 32 square-metres of living space including a private verandah, moving up to the 233 square-metre, two-bedroom, Owner's Penthouse Suite.
Dining Options
Guests will have a choice of six freestyle dining options. Contemporary fine dining with French cuisine, Pan Asian, Italian and Steak House, to casual al-fresco dining on the Pool Deck or in the Ocean Cafe Lounge, plus in-room dining for all suites.

With a 1:1 staff-to-guest ratio, the high quality of service standards set by Scenic will be taken to the next level as all 114 suites on Scenic Eclipse come with a personal butler.
Always wanted to fly over Antarctica, the Norwegian Fjords or the Arctic? With two helicopters and a helipad located on decks eight and nine, Scenic Eclipse is well equipped for passenger comfort while offering unique experiences not seen before.

Add to this a seven-seater submarine, kayaks, 12 zodiacs for exploration, snorkel and scuba equipment, an ROV (remotely operated underwater vehicle) with camera, indoor/outdoor heated swimming pool; it's easy to see how a 6-star rating has been earned on this luxurious super-yacht.
Spas, jacuzzi, gym and yoga rooms, a full library and a 240-seat theatre (space for every passenger) are available for use. As with all Scenic cruises, all tips and gratuities are complimentary and include Wi-Fi, expert local guides for included shore excursions, a choice of included Scenic Freechoice activities to personalise the guest experience, plus Scenic Enrich special events.
Speaking at Scenic's annual Night of Stars trade event in Sydney on Saturday, Chairman Glen Moroney commented: “Our goal with Scenic Eclipse was to open up the private Discovery Yacht experience so that our guests could discover regions previously only visited by a fortunate few.
“In many cases only the supremely wealthy or explorers and adventurers could've travelled to the Antarctic hinterland or have ventured below the surface to witness Polar wildlife in their natural habitat but now we are making these experiences accessible to our guests whilst they travel in the utmost luxury and safety.”
