2. Enchanted Hinatuan River, Philippines  

As legend states, the Enchanted Hinatuan River hidden in the Philippine jungle is thought to home a unique fish of mystery that is impossible to catch! The river offers a mesmerising display of sapphire and jade colours. The stream of clear, blue water is 80-feet deep and stretches into the Pacific Ocean – perfect for those who want to experience a natural wonder. 
 

3. Isola Bella Gardens and Palace, Italy 

Built on a foundation of water, the Isola Bella Gardens and Palace, located in Italy, is a royal palace that is brimming with style. The world-famous garden of Isola Bella offers an elegant mix of beautiful stone structures and vibrant flowers. The centrepiece of this ornate location is the Teatro Massimo. This is the ultimate display of architecture featuring ten scenic terraces each decorated exquisitely with statues, fountains and vegetation.

4. Rocky Mountains, Canada 

Arguably the crowning glory of Canada, the mighty Rocky Mountains, which stretch across the eastern provinces of British Columbia and Alberta, are home to some of the most beautiful destinations in the world. 5. Hsinbyume Pagoda, Burma

Visiting the Hsinbyume Pagoda definitely deserves a spot on your bucket list! Located on the banks of the Irrawaddy River, this stunning pagoda was built by Prince Bagyidaw in 1816 to commemorate Princess Hsinbyume, his late wife. The pure white structure strikes an incredible contrast with its surroundings, and the view from the top is well worth the climb.

6. Hitachi Seaside Park, Japan

Hitachi Seaside Park offers some of the most stunning and beautiful views in Japan. Spread out over 350 hectares, the park is filled with a variety of wide-open green spaces. In autumn the park really comes alive as the flowers bloom, covering the ground in an awe-inspiring array of colours.

7. Antelope Canyon, Arizona  

Arizona is an American state known for its breath-taking landscapes and out of this world rock formations. Antelope Canyon is a geological wonder! Take a guided tour through the swirling sandstone and, if you’re lucky, admire the light beams shining through the rocks (which normally happens around midday on clear days). You won’t want to forget your camera for this one.

8. Petra, Jordan  

Carved into the vibrant sandstone cliff faces in Jordan stands the “Lost City.” Hundreds of years ago, the city was a thriving trading centre, but now the city sits in ruins. One of the new seven wonders of the world, Petra in Jordan offers visitors the chance to take a step back in time and walk in the shoes of the Nabataean empire.  
 
The iconic site has also featured in movies such as Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.

9. Kakslauttanen Arctic Resort, Finland

A visit to Brasov, in central Romania, will transport you to a fantastical other world. 11. Glenfinnan Viaduct, Scotland  

After watching the Harry Potter 20th anniversary, what better time to transport yourself to Hogwarts...or at least halfway there. The Glenfinnan Viaduct is the magnificent 21-arched viaduct bridge that overlooks Lock Shiel in the beautiful Scottish Highlands. Go one step further and take a journey on the Jacobite Steam Train, the carriages of which were used in the films for the Hogwarts Express!

12. Waitomo Glow-worm Caves, New Zealand  

Wander into an underworld of stalactites and stalagmites. Marvel at the Cathedral, the caves’ tallest chamber, before taking a boat ride through the glowworm grotto. Look up, embrace silence (these critters hate noise), then watch as a thousand tiny lights pierce the darkness. Magic!

13. St Petersburg, Russia 

Russia's former imperial capital is bristling with Tsarist and Bolshevik revolutionary history. St Petersburg proudly preserves its heritage architecture and its cultural links to western Europe. Starkly beautiful in winter, tourists often take a quick trip to the frozen seaside to walk out onto the Gulf of Finland and retrace the footsteps of Comrade Lenin as he made his way back into Russia from exile to kick-start the Russian Revolution.

14. Reykjavik, Iceland  

If cold temperatures are your thing, why not head north to Iceland’s capital city? Visit in the summer time and experience the midnight sun, where the days last almost 24 hours, or make the journey in winter and try to catch a glimpse of the northern lights. No matter what time of year you visit, Reykjavik’s quaint charm is sure to win you over!

15. Mount Ngauruhoe, New Zealand 

Located in the iconic Mordor... well, not really. One of three active volcanoes on New Zealand’s North Island, Mount Ngauruhoe was cast to play the role of Mount Doom in the famous “Lord of the Rings,” series. Visit the foreboding location and see where the one ring was forged and destroyed.  
 
While you are here, feel like an adventurer and tackle the Tongariro Crossing – one of the best day walks in New Zealand.

16. Launceston, Tasmania  

For something a little closer to home, we can’t wait to get back to Launceston! Located in the north of Tasmania, it’s a destination full of natural beauty, incredible food and laid-back charm. While you’re there, be sure to stop by the Tamar Valley and sample some of the signature wines.

17. Noosa, Queensland  

For a Sunshine Coast getaway in 2022, you can’t beat Noosa! Spend the day shopping on Hastings Street, relaxing on the beach or enjoying the local dining scene.

18. Broome, Western Australia  

Located on the coast of Western Australia, Broome is a destination that will sweep you off your feet. Known as the pearling capital of Australia, it's the ultimate place to crack open some oysters and look for hidden gems. From Broome, you can also experience the spectacular Kimberley region or Cable Beach.
