If you thought British Airways Club World Business Class was already swish, then you’ll be excited by the announcement of a $1 billion investment into upgrading the travel class. With everything from restaurant-style dining service to new bedding, Club World Business Class is set to give guests the best night’s sleep in the sky.

The airline has announced that flights between London Heathrow and Sydney will have bedding and amenity kits by iconic British brand, The White Company, in the Club World cabin. Founded 22 years ago, The White Company has become a leading lifestyle, and quintessentially British brand known for its range of white essentials and beautifully-designed products with British heritage at its core.

Introduced on flights departing London and Sydney this week, the new bedding includes luxurious large pillows and pillowcases, a super-soft woven blanket with satin trim, a luxury duvet, and a padded mattress cover for an extra layer of comfort for the overnight flight.

To make the flight even more luxurious, new Club World Business Class amenity kits will include products from The White Company’s ‘Restore & Relax Spa Collection’ and a soft jersey eye-mask for a better night’s rest.

Nicole Backo, the British Airways’ regional general manager for South West Pacific, said: “The White Company is renowned for quality and style and is the perfect partner for British Airways. This partnership will hold particular appeal for any business travellers who rely on being able to get a good nights’ sleep before arriving ready for a busy day.”

On the ground, flights from Australia all land at British Airways’ award-winning London Heathrow Terminal 5. Premium customers can enjoy the facilities at the Arrivals lounge, which includes showers, breakfast and complimentary Elemis spa treatments. There are also the exclusive Galleries Club lounges available for departing premium customers.

It’s not just Club World Business Class getting all of the love, however. British Airways is investing 4.5 million pounds over the next five years. Upgrades include installation of Wi-Fi and power in every seat, fitting 128 long-haul aircraft with new interiors and taking delivery of 72 new aircraft.  In January of this year, there was a multi-million dollar investment in its World Traveller Economy Class catering, introducing an exciting and expanded new menu, which provides more quality and quantity to both meals and snack options onboard.
