Sidling up to the buffet line to pile your plate is a Vegas tradition not to be dismissed because of preconceptions about quantity over quality. These are not your average buffets. Think along the lines of prime rib and handmade tortillas, crab legs and freshly shucked oysters, all-day dim sum, wood fired pizzas, waffle-battered fried chicken, Wagyu lasagne ... the list goes on. And it's all served with Sin City's signature flair. There's more to choose from than you could possibly taste test in a single trip, so it only makes sense to get right to the best of the best.
Wicked Spoon at The Cosmopolitan
Forget dinner plates piled high with mounds of buffet staples. Wicked Spoon is all about single plates featuring individual servings of contemporary dishes. Revolutionary when it opened in 2010, this buffet inspired many other establishments to rethink their approach. On the food front, the Wicked Spoon continues to push the boundaries, plating up rich delicacies such as roasted bone marrow and lamb. Traditional bites are also still very much a part of the Wicked Spoon line-up, which means you don't have to miss out on all the prime rib and crab legs you can eat!

Bacchanal At Caesars Palace
Throw everything you know about buffets to the wind, because Bacchanal does things different. After a recent $17 million (USD) revamp, it features nine open kitchens producing cuisine from around the world. This includes Mexican, Italian, Chinese, Japanese, American, seafood and pizza. Even better, it's all cooked to order. Without a bain-marie in sight, foodies can choose from over 500 dishes spanning breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert, many of which are prepared before your very eyes.
Don't miss: It's hard to choose a favourite here, with options like a pork carnitas and homemade tortillas, Wagyu sliders and made-to-order soufflés, but make sure to try the red velvet pancakes.
The Buffet at Wynn
Visually stunning with soaring ceilings and Wonderland-eque decor, the Buffet at Wynn wins points based on aesthetic alone. But the food is pretty dang impressive as well. This is especially true of the breakfast buffet, which many count as the best in the city. This is another offering that has seen a renovation uplift, adding 15 live action cooking stations and more than 120 new dishes to the already comprehensive line-up. From steakhouse favourites to succulent seafood, you'll definitely find something to tempt your tastebuds.
Don't miss: You're sure to be immediately drawn to the dessert station, thanks to a chocolate fountain, but don't overlook such savoury treats as the waffle-battered fried chicken.

Studio B Buffet
This unique buffet is definitely for the die-hard foodie. Not only are diners treated to a staggering display of dishes (more than 200 prepared fresh daily to be exact), but the dining area displays more than 116 video screens playing cooking demonstrations from the show kitchen and clips from the Food Network. If you'd rather see these culinary skills in person, you'll find that too with open cooking stations where in-house chefs prepare your food while you watch. From sashimi and nigiri to wood-fired pizzas and decadent desserts, you'll be spoilt for choice when it comes time to eat.
Don't miss: Seafood lovers should get here on the weekends for one of the most diverse seafood buffets in the city.
Bellagio Buffet
Should you find yourself more in the mood for the classic buffet experience, a trip to the Bellagio Buffet will not let you down. It may not lay claim to the biggest in Vegas, but when it comes to variety, it's definitely top tier. In fact, there are dishes here that you likely won't find anywhere else. Think along the lines of ahi poke, glass noodle salads and a made-to-order taco station. All the traditional buffet staples are accounted for as well: carving station, crab legs, make-your-own salads and more.
Don't miss: In keeping with offering up unique dishes, the dessert bar is well worth a gander if you have a sweet tooth. White chocolate Nutella parfait anyone?
