Popular Samoan holiday destination, Aggie Grey's has officially debuted as the Sheraton Samoa Aggie Grey's Resort after a multi-million dollar refurbishment under new management, Starwood.
Since the 1900s, Aggie Greys' resorts have had a long association with world-class island hospitality.
Aggie was a regular on the Samoan social scene and founded her first hotel in 1933. Her name has since been synonymous with world-class service.
Aggie's legacy continues today, with the relaxed island lodge having been injected with new life under the Sheraton brand.
In a lagoon setting on a pristine stretch of white sand beach in Mulifanua, and only five minutes from the airport, guests will be more than spoilt with what's on offer.
Rooms have had a flawless makeover, with touches of tropical inspired decor contrasting against modern amenities including flat-screen televisions and the iconic Sheraton Sweet Sleeper Beds. All guest accommodation opens out to ground-floor patios or first-floor balconies, and offers garden or ocean views.
Mum and Dad can soak up the sun by the sprawling lagoon-style pool or surrender their senses to a massage at the Manaia Polynesian Spa, while the kids (under 12 years) spend their days at the Dolphin Kids' Club.
Business guests will be well-equipped at The Link@Sheraton; a comfortable lounge in which to relax and catch up on emails.
And when it comes to dining, guests will have a choice of four restaurants, each featuring views of the Pacific Ocean and their signature island-inspired flavours. A pool bar and casual Solent Bar complete the dining experience.
Aggie's other Samoa property, Aggie Grey's Hotel & Bungalows, is expected to reopen under Starwood management in May 2015.
