Have you ever wanted to see the enigmatic monoliths of Easter Island or come face to face with a dragon on Komodo Island? How about make the slow transit through the Suez or Panama canals? Perhaps the cold seas of Iceland and the Canadian province of Newfoundland have been calling you? Or the warm waters of the South Pacific and the Caribbean?

These extraordinary experiences on opposite ends of the Earth can all be seen in one holiday – a 106-night world cruise with Princess Cruises.

Just in time for the 10-year anniversary of the advent of world cruising from Australia, Princess will launch its longest voyage from Sydney on June 5, 2018, covering 32,000 nautical miles. That’s about 1.5 times around the Earth.

The round trip on board Sea Princess features 40 destinations in 27 countries, and crosses the international date line. And there are overnight stays in some of the world’s most sought-after destinations, including New York, Barcelona and Venice.

Sea Princess’s 2018 world cruise will welcome the line’s 30,000th local world cruise guest, while also notching up a total of 450,000 nautical miles, 183 unique destinations and its 1,500th day at sea on long voyages of more than 75 days from Australia.

Princess Cruises Vice President Australia & New Zealand Stuart Allison said a world cruise was great value and an easy way to see the world.

“With Australian dollars onboard, our world cruises also remove the stress of tipping and the expense of currency exchange,” Allison said.

“Best of all, our guests only have to unpack once and the world will come to them from the luxury and comfort of a magnificent Princess ship.”

Sea Princess carries 2,000 guests and 910 crew in accommodation ranging from suites to balcony, ocean-view and interior staterooms. You can enjoy restaurants championed by famous chefs including Curtis Stone and chocolatier Norman Love, make a splash in gorgeous pools and hot tubs, enjoy movies under the stars, original musical productions, a Vegas-style casino, and luxuriate in the Lotus Spa.

Travel for me is about conversations and connections. There’s nothing like setting foot in a new land and meeting people a world apart. From talking to North Sea fishermen in Norway’s Lofoten Islands to breakfast chat at a B&B in my own back yard, there’s always a story to share and a tale to tell.
