Following the success of four Australian east coast hotels and resorts joining myTime, the popular holiday club recently welcomed the first west coast property into the fold. Guests who book their accommodation through Flight Centre for the 5-star Pan Pacific Perth will now enjoy a range of bonus extras at no additional charge.

 Pan Pacific Perth

Grant Raubenheimer is the General Manager of the Perth property that offers views over the Swan River.

"Without a doubt, our two brands complement each other perfectly. In partnership, we are dedicated to providing memorable travel experiences and of course, it's in our nature to strive to provide special touches which will surprise and delight our guests at all times," said Grant.

The myTime concept was developed in 2011, when Flight Centre approached selected hotels that were willing to provide extra services at no additional cost to guests who booked their accommodation through Flight Centre. The first properties to sign up were located in Cancun, the Riviera Maya and Aruba. There are now over one hundred myTime resorts located throughout South-east Asia, the South Pacific, Mexico and the Caribbean. In 2012 the Pacific International in Cairns, the Paradise Palms at Kewarra Beach and the Sheraton Mirage Port Douglas became myTime properties and earlier this year, the Parkroyal Darling Harbour also signed up to the initiative.

Now in Perth, the latest addition to the club has four room types including the Standard Room, which is designed to create a refreshing and relaxing space, the Deluxe Room, the Premier King and the Premier Spa that features a spa bath in the ensuite bathroom. The property also boasts a River Suite, a Presidential Suite and a Premier Suite Spa. Regardless of which room you select, all guests enjoy wired and wireless high-speed internet access, a personal digital safe, daily turn-down service on request and a fully-stocked mini-bar.

If you're looking for a little extra pampering, the oversized Pacific Club rooms and suites will not disappoint. These exclusive rooms provide you access to the Club lounge with all you need at your fingertips including daily breakfast, pre-dinner drinks and canapés, afternoon tea on weekends, and a dedicated Club Concierge.

Specific for the Pan Pacific Perth, myTime travellers will receive a 20 per cent discount on any spa treatment at the Rose Moon Day Spa including the Rose Moon Escape Package that features a full body scrub and massage, steam session, facial and manicure or pedicure. On the other hand, travellers may like to follow the recommendation of Grant, the property's General Manager.

"Working within the fast paced hospitality industry can be rather exhausting at times, so I would have to say a traditional deep tissue massage would be my number one pick. Given the opportunity based on workload, this would be my chance to really switch off and relax after a busy week," he said.

"I would also urge guests to enjoy the meals served in the Montereys Restaurant – with myTime you'll receive 15 per cent off your second restaurant bill. I personally can't go past the amazing breakfast. Poached eggs are a favourite of mine and Montereys cooks these to perfection every time. Served with honey glazed ham and Hollandaise sauce, this makes for the perfect start to my day. The restaurant also does a sensational seafood dinner buffet."

Origins Restaurant, which proudly showcases culinary works of art using the freshest local produce, offers High Tea every Saturday and Sunday between 2.00pm and 5.00pm. myTime guests receive a 25 per cent discount on their afternoon indulgence.

"We are very lucky to have a new and extremely talented pastry chef on board. I would definitely struggle to pick just one High Tea favourite but perhaps if I cut it back to three favourites I would say the Pork belly croquette, roasted corn and apple pureé; wow, what a dish. The balance of flavours and the crispy pork belly is spot on. Also the herb marinated slipper lobster salad with lime infused marie rose dressing – I love the freshness of this salad. It's certainly very moorish and you really could just keep going back for more. And the apple crumble tartlet would have to be up there – I do have a sweet tooth and this dessert certainly hits the mark every time," said Grant.

Grant recommends that if travellers have the time, they should take a trip to the Margaret River wine region. However, if they only have a day or so in Perth, he recommends Cottesloe for the beautiful beaches, Mount Lawley/Leederville for the fantastic boutique cafés and shopping precinct and of course, visitors must visit the unique and beautiful Kings Park botanical gardens along the Swan River.

"If you haven't visited Perth, then you certainly should. We have the most superb weather and the river and beaches are second to none. Our hotel is lucky to have a prime location nearby the Swan River and city centre, so you really have the best of both worlds. Our hotel offers everything you need to relax and enjoy a little time out to yourself."
