Unless you’ve been hiding under a large monolithic rock (ahem, Uluru), you know that Sunday’s 2018 Super Bowl in the USA was kind of a big thing. And it’s not just about the gridiron game (big congrats to the Philadelphia Eagles on your historic win, btw), the TV advertisements that air during the Super Bowl screening garner just as much attention, reaching a worldwide audience much farther than the broadcast reach.

Tourism Australia got in the game this year with a much-talked about ad that appeared to be a trailer for an upcoming film in the classic ‘80s Crocodile Dundee series – Dundee: The Son of a Legend Returns.

Featuring a star-studded lineup of well-known Hollywood actors with Aussie backgrounds, including Tourism Australia ambassador Chris Hemsworth, Margot Robbie, Hugh Jackman, Ruby Rose, Isla Fisher, Russell Crowe, Paul Hogan and many more, this Super Bowl ad spot has created plenty of buzz for Australia as a holiday destination.

Here’s the locations around Australia that were featured in the Tourism Australia Super Bowl spot:

Consumed with unrequited wanderlust, I get my fix in 24/7 cities and hippie retreats. I'm still looking for the ultimate combo of secluded beach and major metropolis, and my happy place is a 5-star hotel room all to myself - sigh.
