Sing us a song, you're the piano man, sing us a song tonight...or at 2pm Monday afternoon when the 'World's First Mobile Piano Bar' arrives at Flight Centre Loganholme.

AAT Kings touring company has created an authentic mobile piano bar experience in one of their luxury coaches complete with an upright grand piano, lounge and bar setting.

Touring until the end of July, the bus’ next Brisbane stop will be Flight Centre’s Loganholme store at 2pm on Monday before it moves on to Flight Centre Bribie Island at 10am Tuesday.

The bus will visit more than 30 regional and coastal towns throughout Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia.

“At AAT Kings we provide incredible Australian experiences for our guests every day and this particular trip provides us with the opportunity to meet with Aussies in many regional centres..” AAT Kings managing director Anthony Hayes said.

The mobile piano bar comes off the back of the success of AAT Kings’ 2014 ‘World’s First Mobile Indoor Lawn Bowls Green’. The piano bar boasts a line up of local pianists each of which will be taking song requests and welcoming residents onboard.

“It also allows them to see – or should I say hear – how we bring Australia to life on our holidays and in doing so I hope it encourages them to spend more time exploring this country,” Said Hayes.

Monday’s pianist at Flight Centre Loganholme is the Byron Bay native Barry Ferrier, also known as ‘Doctor Baz’. Ferrier has a background in performing arts and has composed music for a number of Australian and international theatre companies.

Focusing on recreating a sense of community spirit and good old-fashioned fun, AAT Kings’ World’s First Mobile Piano Bar is sure to be a hit with families and those reminiscent of simpler times.
