Getting There
The nearest airports to Cardrona are at Wanaka, 10km away and Queenstown, 60km away. The drive from Queenstown takes about 50 minutes. Other airports on the South Island include Dunedin, 280km away and Christchurch, 420km away. There are privately-operated shuttles running from Wanaka and Queenstown to Cardrona. Events
As part of the New Zealand Winter Games, Cardrona hosts the Gravitycross, Big Air, Ski Halfpipe and the World Cup LG Halfpipe for snowboarding. Cardrona is also the host site for the SSNZ Junior Ski and Snowboard Nationals.
