One of Rusutsu's biggest drawcards is its accessible tree runs and back country. Picture yourself exploring natural terrain, winding around snow topped pine trees and taking in the panoramic views. Rusutsu is the largest ski area in Hokkaido and includes three main mountains; Mount East, Mount West and Mount Isola. Each offers a great variety of trails including groomed runs with long consistent fall-lines as well as uncharted cross country to explore. The resort is also ideal for family holidays as kids have their own designated ski areas, and can have a go at tubing and dog sledding.
