Sit back and relax!

Put away your walking shoes and throw out that autobahn map because the easiest way to experience Europe is on the train. And there is no easier way to see the sights than with a Eurail pass in hand. Covering 33 of Europe's most popular destinations, now including Great Britain Eurail passes allows passengers to visit a multitude of countries with ease on the expansive European rail network.

With 2 Eurail pass types on offer, each providing a range of flexible options and savings benefits, the only hard part is deciding which Eurail pass is best for you. Choose between a Global Pass, or a One Country Pass and sit back and relax aboard some of Europe's finest trains.

Global Pass

The Global Pass is the ultimate in Eurail passes and allows passengers to start in any country and visit up to 33 European countries by train. Passengers can choose from a range of travel options and prices, starting from travelling on any flexible 10 days within a 2-month period to continuous travelling every day inside a 3-month period, with some passes offering free travel days. First class travel is available on many routes and Eurail fares include Youth, Adult, Senior and Family.

Countries included: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Boznia & Herzegovina, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France (including Monaco), Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Hungary, Republic of Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Latvia, Macedonia, The Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey.

Flexi vs Continuous

Two types of Eurail passes are available, each with their own obvious advantages. Flexi passes let you choose a specific number of days on which you travel during the validity of the pass. For example, if you purchase a Global Pass – and choose 10 days within 2 months, you may travel on any 10 days within the specified 2-month period. Travel days do not have to be consecutive and you are free to decide during your trip precisely when you use them.

Continuous passes allow unlimited travel on any trains through the entirety of the period the pass is valid. Continuous passes are more expensive than flexi passes but afford the freedom of travelling whenever you choose. Flexi passes also vary in the number of travel days and the period of validity between each pass and country, so choose your pass carefully. All Eurail passes are available as a flexi pass.

One Country Pass

This pass is the best option if you’re planning to spend your travels in one European country only. For example, if you want to explore chateaus and wine regions in France, perhaps take a history tour around Spain, or eat your way through Italy, many European countries have both high-speed trains and regional services that allow you to move from one historic place to the next.

Seat Reservations

It’s important to note that, while you can hop on and off many trains as you please with your Eurail Pass, on some services, mainly High Speed and Scenic trains, you are required to purchase an additional seat reservation before you can board the train.
