Day 1 New York City.
Arrival in New York City: Welcome to the "Big Apple" Your Tour Director will be available from 3-6:00 p.m. this afternoon to answer any questions. After settling in, you can begin exploring the world-famous shopping, restaurants, and the vibrant life of the city.
Day 2 New York City to Boston.
New York City Sights & Onward to Boston: Enjoy a guided sightseeing tour of New York, including Broadway, the Empire State Building, Rockefeller Center, Wall Street, the 9/11 Memorial, and more. Afterward, travel to Boston, the "Cradle of American Liberty."
Day 3 Boston.
Exploring Boston: Take a morning guided tour of historic Boston, including Faneuil Hall, the Old North Church, the Freedom Trail, and Boston Common. The afternoon is free to explore more on your own.
Day 4 Boston to Québec City Area.
Journey to Québec: Travel through New Hampshire and the scenic White Mountains, heading to Québec City on the St. Lawrence River. Experience the change in culture and language as you enter French-Canadian territory.
Day 5 Québec City Area.
Exploring Québec City: Optionally visit the Érablière le Chemin du Roy Sugar Shack for a traditional Québec breakfast and a maple syrup tour. Later, take a guided tour of Old Québec, a UNESCO World Heritage site, featuring the historic Chateau Frontenac and ancient landmarks.
Day 6 Québec City Area to Montréal.
Montréal Discovery: Continue to cosmopolitan Montréal, home to Expo '67 and the 1976 Summer Olympics. Enjoy sightseeing, including St. Joseph's Oratory, the lookout atop Mount Royal, Old Montréal, and Notre Dame Church.
Day 7 Montréal to Ottawa.
Ottawa Sightseeing: Travel to Ottawa, Canada's capital, and enjoy a guided tour, visiting Parliament Hill, the Canadian Mint, the Rideau Canal, and the National Gallery. Spend the afternoon exploring ByWard Market and more. Optional excursion to the Canadian Museum of History.
Day 8 Ottawa to Thousand Islands National Park to Toronto.
Thousand Islands & Scenic Cruise: Travel south along the Rideau Canal to Thousand Islands National Park, and enjoy a scenic cruise among the wooded islands along the St. Lawrence River.
Day 9 Toronto.
Exploring Toronto: On a guided sightseeing tour, see the CN Tower, City Hall, the banking district, and Roger's Center. Spend the rest of the day exploring Toronto's Harbourfront, Ontario Place, and Chinatown. Consider an optional dinner atop the CN Tower for amazing views.
Day 10 Toronto to Niagara Falls.
Niagara Falls Adventure: Travel through Ontario's farmlands and vineyards to Niagara Falls. Visit Table Rock, take a sightseeing cruise to the base of the falls, and opt for a helicopter flight for a breathtaking aerial view. (Weather permitting).
Day 11 Niagara Falls to Lancaster.
Heading to Lancaster: Leave Canada and travel to Pennsylvania Dutch country. Optional excursion to experience authentic Pennsylvania Dutch cooking.
Day 12 Lancaster to Pennsylvania Dutch Country to Washington DC Area.
Amish Culture & Washington DC: Visit the Amish Farm & House to learn about the unique Amish way of life. Then head to Washington DC for the afternoon, with an optional dinner and Monuments by Night Illumination tour.
Day 13 Washington DC.
Washington DC Highlights: Take a half-day tour to visit the Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument, and Capitol Hill. The rest of the day is free to explore the National Museum of American History, the National Museum of Natural History, and more.
Day 14 Washington DC to Philadelphia.
Philadelphia Exploration: Travel to Philadelphia and visit Independence National Historical Park, home of the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall. Spend the rest of the day exploring the area known as "America's Most Historic Square Mile."
Day 15 Philadelphia to New York City.
Exploring Philadelphia & Return to New York: Enjoy additional sightseeing in Philadelphia before heading to New York City via Newark International Airport for those with homebound flights (after 6 pm). For guests flying out of Kennedy or LaGuardia airports, transfers are not included; flights after 7 pm are recommended. The trip ends in Manhattan late afternoon for New York city extension guests.
