Day 1 Arrive Calgary, Banff.
Welcome to Canada. Once you've landed in Calgary, you'll be met and taken to your hotel in Banff. Make yourself at home before meeting everyone over a welcome dinner. Stay: Two Nights, Banff National Park, Fairmont Banff Springs, in a Mountain View Room. Meals: Dinner .
Day 2 Banff.
Choose how you'd like to spend today in Banff and enjoy the afternoon at leisure. FREEDOM OF CHOICE You might take part in the Banff Experience, which includes a visit to the Cave and Basin National Historic Site. Alternatively, board the Banff Gondola and ascend Sulphur Mountain, or set off on a heli-sightseeing excursion. Perhaps enjoy a float trip along Bow River or learn how to be a Canadian ice hockey player. Otherwise, you might like to spend some time at the Fairmont Spa. Meals: Breakfast.
Day 3 Banff, Moraine Lake, Lake Louise.
Tour Banff then set off to visit the spectacular Moraine Lake. Later, arrive at the iconic jewel of Lake Louise. Day 4 Lake Louise, Athabasca Glacier, Jasper.
Travel along the Icefields Parkway and stop at the Columbia Icefield. Here, you'll board an Ice Explorer vehicle and journey onto Athabasca Glacier before being taken to Jasper via Athabasca Falls. Tonight, dine at the lodge and enjoy a special experience. SIGNATURE EXPERIENCE Enjoy a First Nations' Warrior Women performance with songs and drumming. Your rail holiday starts this morning when you board the Rocky Mountaineer. Relax and soak up the views from your bi-level glass-dome carriage in GoldLeaf Service en route to Kamloops. Stay: Kamloops, hotel as assigned by Rocky Mountaineer (three-star accommodation). Meals: Breakfast, Lunch.
Day 7 Kamloops, Rocky Mountaineer, Vancouver.
The Rocky Mountaineer continues west today, bringing you to Vancouver. See the orange truss bridge at Cisco Crossing and the water crashing over Hell's Gate. Stay: Vancouver, Fairmont Waterfront Hotel. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch.
Day 8 Vancouver, Embark Ship.
Explore the must-see sights of bustling Vancouver on a guided discovery. Later, board your ship and set off for your journey along Alaska's iconic coastline. Stay: Seven Nights, Holland America Line's Koningsdam in a Verandah Stateroom. Meals: Breakfast, Dinner .
Day 9 The Inside Passage.
Spend today onboard, gliding past rocky headlands and over the icy waters of the Inside Passage, one of the most picturesque sea lanes in the world. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.
Day 10 Juneau.
Alaska's capital, Juneau, is set at the foot of the mountain peaks on the Gastineau Channel, and outdoor activities are plentiful. Disembark and explore at leisure or with an optional excursion (own expense). Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.
Day 11 Skagway.
Arrive in Skagway, the Inside Passage's northernmost point. See heritage buildings, now protected as part of the Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park, and maybe set off on an excursion (own expense). Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.
Day 12 Glacier Bay National Park.
Wake among the breathtaking scenery of Glacier Bay National Park. Take in the calving tidewater glaciers and learn from local rangers who explain the geological wonders. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner .
Day 13 Ketchikan.
Dock in Ketchikan today, set on the tranquil shores of the Tongass Narrows, and spend some time exploring as you please. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner .
Day 14 The Inside Passage.
Enjoy a last day onboard, cruising the Inside Passage. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.
Day 15 Disembark Ship, Depart Vancouver.
