Day 1

Howdy Jackson

Get ready for your journey through the Old West and epic national landmarks in the intrepid adventurer's town of Jackson.

Check in to your hotel and enjoy an afternoon strolling past the art galleries in town, ranked as one of the top five art markets in the country, before meeting your fellow travellers for a Welcome Dinner this evening to kick off your US National Park tour.

Day 2

Go Wild In Grand Teton National Park

See Grand Teton National Park with the shimmering peaks of the Teton range rising up above alpine forests and lakes.

The park is famous for its 45-mile-long Teton Mountain Range, including eight peaks over 3,658 m in elevation. Several glacier carved lakes dominate the park's landscape, Jenny Lake being the most popular. Grand Teton a top-notch destination for wildlife sightings including black bears, gray wolves, eagles and river badgers. This afternoon, opt to sail into the sky on an aerial tram ride to the peak of Rendezvous Mountain offering 360-degree views of the Tetons, Jackson Hole and the Snake River Valley.

Delve Into The Wild Scenery Of The West

Grand Teton National Park promises mountain peaks, lakes and forests.

Explore the alpine landscapes, keeping your camera at hand to capture the picturesque backdrop of the 40-mile long Teton Mountain Range for today’s drive. See parts of Yellowstone’s lower loop before arriving in West Yellowstone, the gateway to the world’s oldest national park and a boon for outdoors enthusiasts of all ages. Get a taste of what’s to come tomorrow on your US National Park tour exploring the gateway city of West Yellowstone lined with attractions including the Grizzly & Wolf Discovery Center, The Playmill Theatre and Museum of the Yellowstone.

Admire The Geysers Of Yellowstone

See how Yellowstone, America's first National Park, is in a league of its own.

From over 500 spouting geysers and bubbling mud pots to turquoise hot springs, this geothermal wonderland is an endless playground. Pay a visit to Old Faithful, watching as its waters arc high into the air. Stop at more photo-worthy sights including Canyon Village, Grand Canyon of Yellowstone and Hayden Valley. Have your eagle eyes ready as you try to spot the park’s resident bison, grizzlies and elk while navigating scenic drives and valleys.

Salt Lake City and Swore Farms Connect with Locals

Get ready for a taste of all things local on your US National Park tour on your journey to Salt Lake City with a stop in Pocatello for a special Be My Guest experience at Swore Farms.

At this family owned and operated farm, meet Wendy, mother, farmer and award-winning author for a tour of the farm and greenhouses followed by lunch. Discover the secrets of Wendy’s family's passion for farming and living a rural lifestyle before travelling south. In Utah’s capital, the center of the Mormon religion, delve into history at the Salt Lake City Temple Square and explore on your own. This evening, join your fellow travellers for dinner.

Day 6

Unmask Bryce Canyon National Park

Explore the eerie hoodoo spires of Bryce Canyon National Park in one of the country’s most remarkable landscapes.

Admire its deep canyons, juniper pine trees and secret hideaways in an amphitheatre of rusty red, pink and orange limestone spires. Unlock more other-worldly landscapes at Zion National Park’s towering cream, pink and red cliffs and unusual biodiversity. A stroll along some of its many trails find you following in the footsteps of Native Americans and the earliest pioneers.

Day 7

A Scenic Ride Through Zion Canyon Make Travel Matter

Zion Canyon promises soaring canyon walls and the winding Virgin River, and your private tram ride along the valley floor will have you delving into some of the park’s most treasured spots.

Next up on your US National Park tour, we stop at Desert Viewpoint for a MAKE TRAVEL MATTER® Experience to support the development of the Intertribal Cultural Heritage Site. Here, you will be able to interact with Native Americans from 11 traditionally associated tribes of the Grand Canyon. Connect with local Indigenous artists who will talk about their crafts and share their experiences through storytelling, family histories and cultural demonstrations such as carpet weaving and traditional song and dance performances. Your day ends with a Stays with Stories experience at the Grand Canyon Railway Hotel in historic Williams just steps away from Route 66.

Day 8

Visit the Grand Canyon

Visit one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World and a UNESCO World Heritage site, Grand Canyon National Park.

Experience the park on an optional morning flightseeing ride. Then, take in views on the ground as you learn about this natural spectacle. Celebrate your journey with a Farewell Dinner at Fred Harvey restaurant. Enjoy the restaurant’s railroad atmosphere complete with entrées inspired by recipes used on classic American railroads.

Day 9

One Last Scenic Desert Drive

You’re treated to a classic road trip on iconic Route 66.

Slice through desert landscapes bound for the desert playground of Las Vegas where you will be transferred to Las Vegas Harry Reid International Airport or consider extending your US National Park tour.

Pocatello: A warm welcome is waiting at family-owned and operated Swore Farms that includes a farm as well as a corn maze and pumpkin patch in the fall. Meet Wendy, who shares in a funny and heartfelt way what the farm means to her family as well as reveals the secrets of local farming over a tour sharing where and how crops are grown. Take a ride through the farm to get a new perspective on local farming, meet familiar farm friends and learn how they enrich the community through healthy, delicious, fresh produce before enjoying lunch in the greenhouse.

Iconic Experience

Jackson: The famed Grand Tetons spring to life on a scenic float trip on Snake River. A designated a Wild and Scenic River by Congress, the Snake meanders southward out of Jackson Lake through the heart of Grand Teton National Park. Don’t be surprised if you spot an elk, mule deer and bison that call the area home. Your relaxing 13-mile float is enhanced by your guide’s insights into the history, geology and wildlife of the Jackson Hole Valley.

Grand Teton National Park: Get your cameras ready for Grand Teton National Park’s shimmering peaks of the Teton mountain range rising up above forests and lakes. You’ll love exploring the park’s alpine landscapes with your Tour Director who shares details about the 40-mile Teton Range. Explore the Thomas and Colter Bay Visitor Centers, Jenny Lake and Colter Bay overlooking Jackson Lake, one of the highest altitude lakes in the United States.

Yellowstone National Park: Yellowstone National Park. A bucket list destination and a must-see icon. Established as America's first National Park by President Grant in 1872, Yellowstone is famous for its hot springs, bubbling mud pots, vast canyons and lush forests and a variety of terrain including alpine mountains, prairies, valleys and waterfalls as well as a diversity of nature including the hydrothermal features. Explore the Southern Loop of Yellowstone with your Travel Director who shows you the must-sees and highlights, paired with background information of this huge, ever-changing national park. See the splendour of the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, keep an eye out for bison in Hayden Valley, and witness Old Faithful blow off some steam.

Salt Lake City: Get ready for the key features and local secrets of Utah's capital on an orientation tour with your Travel Director. Check out its Mormon center and Temple Square as you delve into the past of its Mormon settlers.

Bryce Canyon National Park: Hello, hoodoos. As you arrive at Bryce Canyon National Park, enjoy seeing the pink, orange and rusty-red limestone spires, known as hoodoos, rise up from the valley floor. Explore the visitor center to learn more about the history and geology of the park before a scenic drive along Bryce Canyon Road with possible stops at Sunrise Point, Sunset Point and Inspiration Point. You’ll love seeing how Bryce Canyon, home to the largest collection of these spires in the world, is in a league of its own.

Zion National Park: Unlock geological history as you walk the paths and trails of Zion National Park, following in the footsteps of Native Americans and the earliest pioneers. The lush vegetation, wild rivers, roaring waterfalls and towering cliffs of this park will have you reaching for your camera over and over again. You’ll even drive through the amazing 1.1-mile, sandstone Zion-Mount Carmel Tunnel built from the late 1920s through 1930, when it was the longest tunnel of its type at the time.

Zion National Park: From soaring canyon walls to the winding Virgin River, the valley floor of Zion National Park is an endless playground. You’ll explore this wonderous spot on a private 90-minute tram tour along Zion Canyon Scenic Drive – which is closed to private vehicles during the busy summer months. Las Vegas: Route 66, home to many Americana landmarks, museums and icons from the bygone days. On your journey along this historic route, stop at Kingman and Seligman - noteworthy towns on Route 66. Learn how although it only existed between 1926 and 1985, Route 66 has become a symbol of the American dream of adventurers and migrants who sought opportunities out west.
