With a carefully planned itinerary that prioritises safe acclimatisation, comfort, and responsible travel, this journey takes you deep into the heart of the Khumbu, following historic trails through traditional Sherpa villages and breathtaking Himalayan landscapes. Unlike standard lodge-based treks, this experience offers a more comfortable and sustainable way to trek, with overnight stays in private Eco-Comfort Camps. These low-impact, purpose-built camps provide warm tented accommodation with off-the-ground beds, heated dining areas, and well-maintained toilet facilities, ensuring a more comfortable experience, especially in the colder months. The itinerary is paced to support proper acclimatisation, reducing the risks of altitude sickness and giving you the best chance of reaching Base Camp in good health. Along the way, expert local guides bring the region’s culture and landscapes to life. Trekking through Namche Bazaar (3,440m / 11,286ft), the vibrant gateway to Everest, and onwards to Thyangboche Monastery (3,860m / 12,664ft), you’ll gain insight into the Sherpa way of life and Buddhist traditions that have shaped the region. The ascent of Kala Pattar (5,545m / 18,192ft) offers the best views of Everest, Lhotse, and Nuptse, before the final approach to Everest Base Camp (5,364m / 17,598ft), where climbers prepare for their summit bids. A key difference in this trek is what’s included. All meals are freshly prepared by an experienced kitchen crew, meaning you don’t have to rely on limited lodge menus or carry extra cash for meals along the way. Drinking water is treated and provided daily, so there’s no need to buy plastic bottles. Porters are well cared for, with fair wages, proper gear, and ethical load limits, ensuring that this trek supports the local community in a sustainable way.
