Nature's oasis in the big city desert

Forest Park takes you off St Louis' urban streets and into the tranquillity of nature. At a little more than 550 hectares, it's bigger than New York's Central Park. Forest Park is made up of grassy lawns and shady trees, artistic water features, sporting fields and outdoor concert venues. Within its grounds you can find cultural museums, the St Louis Zoo and a science centre.

Stay right on Forest Park at the Holiday Inn with its own outdoor pool and cocktail lounge for unwinding after a big day exploring. Combine man-made luxury with natural beauty at The Chase, where you can kick back watching a movie in the theatre, before retiring to a spacious room with park views.

The Arch

One of the most iconic and recognisable landmarks in St Louis would have to be the Gateway Arch, rising high above the buildings like some metallic rainbow. If you're staying close to the Arch, you're close to the Mississippi River and the nearby Downtown entertainment districts.

The Hyatt Regency is one such hotel that boasts up-close views of the Arch along with a variety of dining outlets onsite. Also nearby is the Hampton Inn, where warm welcomes are par for the course and you can begin each day with a hot brekkie.
