Staying in Sacramento's wine country

Although California is prominently known for its beaches, if you visit Sacramento you replace the surf and sand with hundreds of hectares of vineyards alongside welcoming wineries. The city is surrounded by more than 200 wineries, which you can visit for tastings of meticulously created Californian wines and to admire the natural scenery.

There are plenty of tasting establishments within the city or you can head to the numerous wineries outside – only an hour drive.
