The magic of Disney World

As the home of Disney World, Lake Buena Vista is a family-friendly destination with plenty to keep children of all ages entertained. The park is at the top of most Florida itineraries, and for good reason. Thrill rides, Disney experiences, shopping and dining are all on offer, with a smattering of hotels positioned right in the heart of it all.

For the full Disney World Experience, you can stay in the park at the Disney World Resort. Alternatively, many hotels just outside of the park offer more affordable prices. This includes such international brands as the Best Western and Sheraton. Both offer hotels in Lake Buena Vista with mid-range pricing. The Sheraton even has children's activities available.

Outside of Disney

You may be travelling to Lake Buena Vista for the amusement parks, but this Orlando suburb provides plenty of other activities outside of the park. Indulge in local shopping venues such as the Crossroads of Lake Buena Vista, or sample the seafood at Hemmingway's. Ballooning and golfing are available through the day, and a sweep of bars and clubs can entertain through the night.

An abundance of hotels are located in the area, which allows you to bunk up and explore everything that Lake Buena Vista has to offer. The WorldQuest Orlando Resort provides easy access to the Falcon's Fire Golf Club, while the Holiday Inn offers a location within minutes of Crossroads.

Explore Orlando

Orlando sits approximately 26 minutes north of Lake Buena Vista, providing the perfect excuse to get out and explore. This buzzing city is a thriving epicentre of culture and history. With something for everyone, you can take in museums, gardens, nature experiences and even more theme parks.

Stay at the heart of the city to get the most out of your stay in Orlando. The Point Orlando Resort is an excellent mid-range option at the heart of the city with easy access to Discovery Cove and the International Train and Trolley Museum. Alternatively, stay in the Grand Bohemian Hotel Orlando near the Orlando Museum of Art.
