The accommodation in Key Biscayne is somewhat limited as the majority of the island is dedicated to two state parks. Stay close to Crandon State Park
Crandon State Park encompasses the northern third of the island and is home to such attractions as the Crandon Park Tennis Center and Crandon Golf Course. Though, perhaps one of its best attractions is Crandon Park Beach, boasting a family amusement centre, nature centre and expanse of soft golden sand with available cabanas and picnic tables.
There is no accommodation available directly inside the park, but if you're hoping to stay as close as possible, you may want to consider a stay at the Silver Sands Beach Resort. It provides great value for money with easy access to the spoils of Crandon State Park.
Head south for Bill Baggs State Park
Bill Baggs State Park engulfs the southern third of Key Biscayne, providing a tropical setting that beckons with a recreation area, lovely beaches and shimmering, blue water. It also boasts a cultural centre and historic lighthouse with tours available to provide a glimpse into the history of this beautiful park.
Like its northern counterpart, there is no accommodation available directly inside the park; however, you'll find a handful of hotels available through Key Biscayne that do offer easy access. This includes a number of holiday rental apartments. Many offer reasonable prices with a bit more space than a traditional hotel room. The Coral Reef Apartments are worth looking into for 3-star amenities.
