Find a bargain in Cork

Cork is a perfect destination for the more budget conscious. The city is surprisingly compact, allowing travellers to easily walk to many of its attractions. Just outside the city

If you get a chance, you may want to consider breaking away from the city centre to explore Cork's surrounding area. Blackrock Castle is less than 15 minutes away, where the River Lee runs into the Lough Mahon. Alternatively, hop aboard a train to Fota Island to walk amongst the animals at Fota Wildlife Park.

You will be spoilt for choice when it comes to accommodation outside the city. Many boutiques and B&Bs provide first class service. The Vienna Woods Hotel is a perfect example, showcasing beautiful Victorian style. It also features easy access to Blackrock Castle and the Mahon shopping centre. International chains such as Radisson and Best Western also offer locations conveniently positioned in this area.
