Warsaw Chopin International Airport (WAW)

Warsaw’s main international airport, Chopin International is a modern facility that has undergone major renovations over the past decade. The airport continues to expand as annual passenger traffic continues to grow. Featuring two state of the art terminals, the airport features many retail shops, mobile recharging facilities and business lounges. The terminals are close together and most transfers are within walking distance. Public transport is plentiful with a direct train link to the city as well as bus and taxi service.

This thriving European capital on the banks of the Vistula River is centuries old, but to walk its modern streets and stroll along the wide, landscaped avenues, Warsaw looks and feels much younger. With much of the city lying in ruins after the Second World War and having suffered decades of authoritarian rule, Poland and Warsaw broke free of its Communist shackles and never looked back.
