Germanwings' fleet comprises Airbus A319s with a seat pitch of 30 inches and width of 18 inches. Light snacks and drinks, including alcoholic beverages, are available for purchase in flight. Entertainment comprises the in-flight magazine.
Passengers may take 1 piece of hand luggage each, free of charge, up to 8kgs and not exceeding 55cm x 54cm x 20cm. Foldable suit bags may be 57cm x 54cm x 15cm. Checked baggage usually incurs a fee, with the exception of customers with bookings in the Best fare and Fex fare brackets, who may check 1 item of luggage up to 23kgs, free of charge. Otherwise, there is also an excess baggage fee for items in excess of 23kg per traveller.

- Online and via smartphone (between 72 and three hours prior to departure. Some German airports allow check-in up to 30 minutes before take off)
