Economy
Adjustable seat bottoms, ergonomic seats, and an adjustable headrest are features of Eva Air’s Economy Class seating. Seat pitch varies between types of aircraft, from the Airbus 330-300 with a 31-32 inch seat pitch up to the Boeing 747-400 (744) offering a seat pitch of 33-36 inches. On-demand seatback entertainment screens are found on most Eva Air Economy flights, offering a range of over 40 Hollywood and local movies, TV shows, games and audio to pass the time. A choice of hot multi-course meals is available on long haul flights, complimented by a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
Premium Economy: Elite and Evergreen Deluxe Class
Eva Air’s Premium Economy Classes offer more legroom and personal space for a reasonably small jump in price from Economy fares. Travellers in the Elite and Evergreen sections can expect wider reclinable seats with a seat pitch of between 38-40 inches. Seatback on-demand entertainment with a vast selection of movies, TV, games and audio is available on all flights except on the airlines Boeing 747-400 (74E) aircraft which features a cabin drop down screen. A full meal and beverage service is available, similar to Economy. Additional features include individual power sockets, adjustable headrests (leather on some aircraft), and domestic Business Class standard service throughout the flight.
Business Class
Stretch out and relax with a generous seat pitch of between 44-45 inches in Eva Air’s Business Class cabin. Available on A321-200 and B747-400combi aircraft, Business Class passengers can enjoy a full in-flight fine dining menu with complimenting alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, plus snacks when required. A selection of entertainment is available on large on-demand personal screens offering over 40 Hollywood and local movies plus a good selection of music and games. Additional perks include access to the Eva Air Lounge before travel, priority check-in and priority baggage handling.
First Class: Premium Laurel
Available on Eva Air’s A330-200, A330-300 and B747-400 aircraft, Premium Laurel Class offers First Class seating and privileges for an exceptionally comfortable journey. Passengers can stretch out with a 61-62 inch seat pitch arranged in a 2-2-2 seating arrangement. Exclusive features include electronically controlled lumbar support, fully adjustable headrests and footrests and ergonomic seats that recline to almost flatbed position. A feather quilt and pillow is provided, along with a luxury amenities kit full of skin moisturising products to keep travellers refreshed and hydrated. Freshly brewed coffee, hot snacks and cold drinks are on hand throughout the journey, alongside a restaurant style multi course dining menu of appetisers, soups, deserts and salads and dishes from around the world. A vast selection of audio-visual entertainment on 10-15 inch personal screens can be enjoyed with noise cancelling headphones. Premium Laurel passengers also enjoy priority check-in, baggage handling and access to VIP lounges at all Eva Air destinations.
First Class: Royal Laurel
Available on Eva Air’s Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, Royal Laurel Class offers the ultimate in comfort in the skies. Reverse herringbone layout seating positions travellers facing the window with a fixed panel facing the aisle, maximising space and offering virtually total privacy. At the touch of a button each seat reclines into a 2 metre long flatbed, complete with pyjamas, and a doona and pillow for a restful sleep. Luxury in-flight dining starts with a glass of fine champagne, followed by tempting entrees, restaurant quality main courses and deserts followed by fresh fruits and cheeses. An exclusive Rimowa amenities kit is provided filled with spa products, a dental kit, a satin sleeping mask and sleep socks. Passengers can also enjoy a full program of entertainment on large on-demand personal screens with noise cancelling headphones. Each personal seating area also features a power socket, a spacious table for working or reading, space to hang clothes, and a shoe cabinet.
Carry-on
Royal Laurel, Premium Laurel and Business Class passengers may take 2 pieces of carry-on luggage on the flight, with each piece weighing a maximum of 7kgs. Evergreen/ Elite and Economy passengers may take one piece of carry-on luggage up to 7kgs. The sum of dimensions of all hand luggage must not exceed 115cm. Reasonably sized personal items may also be taken on the flight, including a laptop, small handbag, camera case or briefcase.
Checked Baggage
EVA Air operates a piece system for checked baggage to and from North America, and a weight system for all other destinations. Economy Class passengers may bring checked luggage with a maximum weight of 20kg, and on flights to and from America and Canada this increases to 2 pieces of checked luggage with a maximum weight of 23kg per piece. Travellers flying in Evergreen or Elite Class can check-in baggage up to 25kg in weight, or take 2 pieces each weighing no more than 28kg on flights to North America. Business Class, Premium Laurel Class and Royal Laurel Class passengers enjoy a generous weight allowance of 30kg, or 2 pieces of 32kg and under on the piece system for North American destinations.
Bulky Items
Travellers wishing to bring bulky or oversized items heavier than 32kg on the flight must obtain prior approval from the airline before they fly, and receive approval at least 24 hours before departure. Excess baggage fees will apply if the sporting equipment exceeds weight / size of regular baggage allowance.
Infant Baggage
An infant travelling on a parents lap is entitled to 10kg of check-in baggage allowance, this is increased to the same weight allowance as the accompanying adult on flights to North America.
Restricted or Dangerous Goods
For safety reasons, EVA Air has a total ban on some dangerous goods and materials, in both checked and carry-on luggage. These hazardous materials include compressed gases (including diving tanks and spray paints), corrosives and explosives, flammable liquids, radioactive materials, cases with built in alarms, oxidising materials, poisons and other dangerous substances such as asbestos, tear gas and Tasers. Dangerous goods that may be taken onboard the flight as checked luggage include sporting guns (with prior approval from airline). Hand luggage restrictions include liquids, gels and pastes, which may only be carried onboard in quantities of 100ml or less, sealed in a 1l transparent bag (each passenger may bring one 1l bag only). Medications with passengers name, baby formula and duty free items purchased after security checkpoint are exempt from this rule.

With several different check-in options available to passengers travelling on EVA Air, you can breeze through the process in no time. If you have access to the web, choose to check in online, or head to the airport and check yourself in at a designated kiosk, or head to the counter if you need help with the process.
Web Check-in
Open 24 hours prior to flight departure, online check-in is a straightforward process that will have you travel ready in a few clicks. Choose your seat, print your boarding pass, and head to the airport where you can drop checked baggage at the bag drop counter. Web check-in is available to international passengers who are not flying with an infant, do not require additional assistance, and are not unaccompanied minors under 12 years old. Online check-in closes 3 hours prior to scheduled departure.
Kiosk Check-in
Check yourself in with a smile when you fly from Taoyaun International Airport, with EVA Air’s bright and colourful Hello Kitty self-serve check-in kiosks. Kiosk check-in is available to certain destinations including Japan, Hong Kong, and Los Angeles, when flying onboard EVA Air’s Hello Kitty aircraft. Self-serve check-in opens at 5am each day and is available until 1 hour prior to scheduled flight departure.
Airport Check-in
EVA Air recommends arriving at the airport to check in up to three hours prior to your flight’s departure, especially in large, busy airports with strict procedures such as the US. If you’re a Diamond MileageLands Frequent Flyer, you and up to three travel companions can enjoy the private Check-In Lounge at Taipei Songshan Airport, along with drinks and refreshments.

EVA Air provides a range of relaxing havens for VIP travellers in all main Taiwanese Airports, as well as providing access to Star Alliance and partner airlines Lounges all over the world. There’s a choice of four exclusive airport lounges available at Taiwan’s Taoyuan International Airport, including the elegant Infinity Lounge, the relaxed Garden Lounge, the spacious Star Lounge, and the urban style Club Lounge. Facilities include hot showers, hot and cold food buffets, coffee, tea, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, WiFi connection, TV and Business Centre. Entry is available for Business Class and Laurel Class passengers as well as Silver, Gold and Diamond Card Infinity MileageLands program members.

Status Levels
Green Card
The entry level of Infinity MileageLands rewards program allows members to earn mileage each time they travel.
Silver Card
An upgrade to Silver level can be achieved when a member has accrued 30,000 miles or travelled on 26 qualifying flights. Additional benefits of this level of membership include use of member reservation hotline within Taiwan, priority waitlisting, additional baggage allowance, and use of EVA Air and partner Lounges worldwide when travelling on EVA Air.
Gold Card
Gold status is reached when a program member accrues 50,000 miles or travels on 50 or more qualifying flights. Gold Card members can bring a travelling companion to the airport lounge with them, if they’re travelling with EVA Air or another Star Alliance airline. A bonus 50% points is awarded for travel made during a members birth year, and an extra baggage allowance of up to 23 kg is allowed.
Diamond Card
Special perks available to Diamond Card members include a private check-in lounge at Taiwan Taipei Song Shan Airport, and fast track service at Bangkok Airport. Four complimentary upgrade certificates are also included in Diamond Card membership, which can be earned once a member has earned 120,000 miles or travelled on 100 or more qualifying flights with EVA Air.
